We arrived to what they call, Middle of America. Little did we know it was actually a thing that is known across those lands. The infamous arch that spreads itself across the freeway, is an actual museum. An interactive, self-guided tour for one to walk through the paths of those traveling west all the way to present day interstate travel! Kearney was the place people would park, rest, restock on food and prep for another long haul across the lands to wherever they were headed west! SO MUCH history learned at this location. The best part was our campsite was literally up the road.

Places like this is exactly why we are doing this! To learn, to explore and see all the things we possibly can…In the most random of places! We decided to stay 2 nights here. We figured this spot would allow us to have a full day and half to explore.
