The Bell Rock Pathway is a 3.6 mile bike ride that we had already done, but planned to start here with the family that was here and ready to experience the bike fun! We figured this was a good plan to start here, as this trail you have the choice to keep going to take other trails or climb up as far to the top as you want on Bell Rock. Much like all the paths in Sedona, their bike and hiker friendly. You get fantastic views of the Red Rock, and a great trail to enjoy and a good start to the all the other amazing trails it offers. We have a shot gun seat for our 3 year old - so there isn’t anything holding us back when it comes to the type of trails to take. She is a firecracker and loves all the downhill, bumps, and so forth. This is a great entry level trail to get things started. Being that our kids age ranges are similar to their cousins, we assumed that this would be a fun filled day out on the bikes!
It was hot, it was toasty so why not some water fun! We decided to check out the ultimate fun filled natural water slide at Slide Rock State Park. Perfect for cooling off on a hot day. The water flows over the rocks creating a natural wonder playground for those who want to splash, slide and play. To say the kids loved it would be an understatement. We could have spent the whole day out here, had we planned for it. We didn’t pack food or let alone have our swim gear. We stayed for about an hour or so and off we left to check out downtown Sedona and get some grub!
