We woke up to Rhett feeling under the weather. We took the day to just chill by the pool, hangout at the site, meanwhile allowing Rhett to get the rest he needed to get to feeling better. Sometimes taking a little break from the constant go-go is a nice refresher. Though the little guy was sick, our campsite was able to provide much entertainment for the other two kids to stay entertained. We may share more on this subject of health in our Live Well page later on, but our little guy gets sick often. Typically, once a month. We use this time to relax, chill out as a family. Rest him for the time being until he is ready and back at it!
As Rhett was resting, after the pool, we decided that it was time to take the training wheels off of Raylee’s bike and have her learn. We felt the two weeks she had the training wheels that came with the new bike, was just bogging her down. The bad habits of teaching her to rely on the back wheels for balance- when she already had the balance down from her strider that she had for the past year. So, off they went. Getting her to relearn to balance wasn’t as hard as we anticipated- though she struggled for a bit. However, after 20 minutes or so she was on her own!
