Mini Golf & Fishing

We made our way back to the pond that we had found earlier in the past week. We attempted to fish while my dad rode his bike around, yet another bike trail found. I am just amazed of all the paved areas that have created for bikers. This town is truly a biker friendly town. Secondly, we are so proud of my dad getting himself out there, to better his health and himself! If there is anything we tell our parents, grandparents, is that we want them around for a long time! So when they go out of their way to better themselves and their health, it makes our heart happy!

This fishing thing this season has been a failure! Ha! Second round at this and it was a failure, as nothing was caught. The boys have been motivated to really catch something and have been wanting to fish for a while now. However, now that we have the opportunity, they aren’t having any luck. I guess that is why they call it fishing. I get it, if it were that easy, everyone would be doing or no one at all because of how easy it would be. After a while of no luck, and patience being tested multiple times; we decided to make our way across the pond to a place that had some mini golf. Something else to test our luck in! We had enough trying to constantly fix the broken lines from the two boys. They kept casting into an area where they kept getting their lines stuck. If anyone knows how that is with just their own line, try 2 different lines, pretty much back to back! We figured mini golf, would be a little less tedious, especially since the weather was starting to turn. If you know Cheyenne weather, you know anything can happen! I guess we would rather chance it in rain and such in a round of mini golf than on a pond with fishing poles.

This would be Raylee’s first attempt to some good ole’ fun at the putting fields. The joys of showing her to not grand slam the ball across the green is one thing, then to explain to her she still needs to tap it hard enough to make it more than an inch in front of her. :) This was a guarantee of laughs and smiles!
