A day to make friends!

Today, we woke up to another day Rhett was down for the count! Poor buddy. We had to make a trip to the local doctor’s office to get him checked out! So, today was going to be a day of hanging out at the site! Blake, Kaycen and Raylee ventured off for a few a while to head to go get us some stuff from Whole Foods. Rhett and I stayed behind. However, it’s crucial for the rest, the supplements, and medicine to get him back to good health. We were heading to Nashville for the weekend, and we wanted him to make a quick turnaround so that he could experience all the fun that was about to be had. As much as we wanted to attend all the biking nearby, we knew it wouldn’t be in our best interest this go around. Having to miss out on Bella Vista, we know this area will be a place we will have to come back too. There is just too much to do and too little of time we had set aside for it.

The two other kids rode their bikes around the paved, circular site and made friends as they pedalled around. At one point, a huddle of us adults were watching the kids ride by one by one, as we were conversing on where we were from, what we were doing and how long we’ve all been on the road. This RV life is more common than we had thought. The first question typically asked first, is whether we are “full timers” This is an actual term, “Full Time Rv’ers.” The Rv life has introduced us to many people with so many fun conversations. I would have to say this is the first site, I truly felt a sense of community within our fellow camping neighbors. I mean, we even went on a part run for our camp neighbor across the road as Blake and the neighbor were trying to figure out what was wrong with his diesel pick up truck!
