Travel Day to NASHVILLE

Off to Nashville! Never have been and super excited to see all the hype we have heard about in good ole Idaho! This town is known for its musical heritage and vibrant musical scene, and we were there to see and experience it all. We arrived as early as we were able to check in at our campsite. We stayed right in Nashville, only 15 minutes to downtown. By the time we arrived, set up, checked out our site, we hopped into the Jetta to head off to spend the late afternoon in the heart of Nashville. Famously known as, Music City Row. Talk about a mini version of Vegas but with music bars back-to-back. Music blasting, people everywhere! The bars were the restaurants, and the restaurants were the concert house. Loud, loaded and just blazing with chaos. Not very many kiddos amongst the groups of adults everywhere. We kind of chuckled that we must look like crazy people bringing 3 young children down here to this sort of scene! We stopped at the Jason Aldean restaurant. As we were walking down the street, we realized that we may not be able to bring the kiddos into any of the places. Thank goodness for cell phones and the internet. Right off the bat, it said the Jason Aldean restaurant was open to children even after 6pm, in the restaurant only! Perfect. We actually were right next to the Aldean restaurant! The way it was set up was great! The kiddos were able to experience a good ole country concert while having an early dinner. Raylee loved the music and danced all while eating her dinner. I swear, this girl was a super star in her past life!

We were all stunned as this has been the first big city feel we’ve seen in a while! Especially for the kiddos. The herds of people everywhere. The city looked like what any major city would look like, other than that strip of bars and music. After our meal, we decided to leave that hustle and bustle, as it wasn’t totally our cup of tea! We love country music and we love good food! Checked them both off our list in the heart of music row! We can say we’ve seen the chaos of Nashville! Did it, done it. Now off to explore more! We were excited to check everything else out now that was checked off our list.

Oh! Total side note, as we keep moving south and to the east, the weather is just getting warmer and warmer, we haven’t seen weather lower than 79 degrees since we came into Kansas! Our a/c has been running all day and night to keep us cool! We are living at the pool during any spare time or hiding in our motorhome if we aren’t out and about!
